My most recent book of poems is The Least Important Man (2012) from Biblioasis, and before that I published a book of poetry called Making Bones Walk (2007), which won the Gerald Lampert Memorial Award. My essays and articles have appeared in print and online in places such as The Globe and Mail. From 2003 to 2008, I hosted the IV Lounge Reading Series in Toronto, presenting fiction readers alongside poets, and eventually co-edited IV Lounge Nights, an anthology to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the series.
I maintained a site about poetry called Northern Poetry Review for seven years and in 2008 I began Digital Popcorn for personal film reviews. Along the way, I helped establish the Best Canadian Essays series, co-editing the first two collections of outstanding work from Canadian magazines.
